built-in authentication and accounting server to validate customer logins and to
monitor usage status. It enables you to enforce usage limits based on predefined
quotas. The unit can be desk or wall mounted. There is the option to have a
customised subscriber login page to the users, which is an ideal revenue
generator as you can sell the advertising space. Within conference centres it
allows exhibitors and attendees to access the Internet enabling your guests to
continue business even when away from their office. You can even extend the
range as the antennas are detachable which means you can upgrade to a more
powerful antenna.
This unit will allow users to access the Internet as well as offering 3 'FREE'
full access pages. For example you can allow free access to your own hotels
web-site allowing people to view your site and make bookings via the Internet.
You can also allow access to weather or a local information website. By allowing
some free content this will encourage a user to go the next step and pay you for
full Internet access as the free access will have given them a taste and has
also provided a free demonstration that your service works. Another example
would be that a golf or sailing club allows unrestricted access to the clubs
website, then charging for full use of the Internet later. As well as wireless
this unit also supports CAT5 cable for direct network connection to the router.
This will allow both radio and cable connected equipment. Users cannot interfere
with another users or your own network as it is 'isolated; from your network
when connected for security.
